I wanted my Select Blinds (Vertical) to be smart, capable of tilting on demand without making drastic changes to their existing design. My goal was to implement this feature with minimal modifications to the blinds themselves. I utilized a 28BYJ-48 stepper Motor, paired it with an ULN2003AN driver and integrated the Wemos D1 Mini into my setup. As my server, I use Home Assistant, and for the D1 Mini firmware, I opted for ESPhome.
