The "Magic Lever" is a distinctive feature incorporated into many SEIKO mechanical watches, serving a crucial purpose in automatic winding of the mainspring. A back-and-forth motion from this mechanism forces a one-way rotating ratchet gear to turn, which in turn rewinds the enclosed mainspring within the barrel. (Refer to the original video on Seiko's YouTube channel for further details.) The Magic Lever is also utilized in TAG Heuer's Calibre 1887.
