Segway Robotic Wine and Cheese Butler
thingiverse
Segway Sommelier De Fromage, a wine-and-cheese party attachment for the Bluetooth-controlled Ninebot Mini-Pro by Segway. A wine bottle can be stored vertically in the tube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5RDpokrU-I Configurable in various ways, like this Christmas Party stack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaskLXJT4Jg Post-Printing Instructions: Print 6 wineglass arms and snap them together at 60-degree intervals. The long marker lines on the outside of the tube help achieve proper orientation. For different rotations, use short tics every 45 degrees. If glasses are heavy, hot-glue arm segments for a more rigid stack. The base slips over the Segway steering column after removing the kneepad assembly. Deliberately loose fit; add shims to prevent rattling. Glue a lightweight serving platter onto either the wide or narrow tray mount piece. Fake-chrome plastic platters from party supply stores work well, or small stamped-metal platters can be used. A double-height stack holding 12 glasses spiraling up through two rotations is impressive but may cause instability in the mini bot if the center of gravity gets too high. Trials stopped before any accidents with broken glass; a single-height stack is recommended for safety.
