I bought a new hoverboard to wear with my Optimus Prime costume. The problem was that the controller was stuck below my knees, so I could only turn left or right by moving it there. However, since the original mount was too small, I had to position my feet in the middle of the board, making it really hard to control the Minilight. So, I made some modifications to improve things and they all worked out well. I managed to space the rubber pads 2-3 inches apart and got better accuracy with the hoverboard. Then I thought about adding a handle to it, which turned out to work even better. Here are four different mods you can try: take an extra Razor scooter handlebar since my son no longer uses his, and they'll work great together. Enjoy the modifications and let me know if they help you too.
