Segway Minilite Upgrades

I recently picked up a brand new hoverboard to pair with my Optimus Prime cosplay suit. However, I hit a snag right off the bat - the controller was situated just below my knees, making it nearly impossible to steer left or right without awkwardly contorting my body. The original mount was woefully inadequate, forcing me to position my feet directly in the center of the board. Needless to say, mastering the Minilight was an uphill battle. I decided to take matters into my own hands and made some crucial modifications that drastically improved control. By placing rubber pads 2-3 inches apart, I was finally able to navigate with precision. As I continued tweaking, I hit upon a brilliant idea - adding a handlebar. To my delight, it worked like a charm! The added stability allowed for even more precise steering. Feeling generous, I've compiled four do-it-yourself mods for you to try out, requiring only an extra Razor scooter handle bar. Lucky for me, my son's old one was collecting dust, making this the perfect solution. Give these mods a shot and see how they work out for you!
