A robust 20mm ID segmented flex tube for capturing and removing chips with ease is currently on hold, pending further development. The addition of a connection to a 17/8 inch shop vac hose and T-Slot mount allows seamless integration onto small CNC mills or routers. To ensure successful printing, please align the snap fingers with their downwards orientation, providing an expansive surface area for attachment to the platform. A multi-step design process optimized the functionality and dependability of these critical features, however challenges persist. Specifically, delamination tends to occur along layer lines more frequently during disconnection of segments. Application of cyanoacrylate adhesive on the inner surfaces of the snap fingers offers a viable solution, mitigating the effects of delamination. Furthermore, printing at reduced resolutions below 0.3 could help but patience is a virtue when refining the design process. To provide increased stability and functionality, a supporting base was added by request. The square mounting pattern measures precisely 1.25 inches on each side.
