Sega Saturn Rhea/Phoebe SD Card Tray
thingiverse
AN UPDATED VERSION IS NOW AVAILABLE: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2010525 The Rhea and Phoebe adapters that replace the failing disc drives in Sega Saturn consoles can be improved with a protective SD card tray. These devices are great, but they leave an open space inside the console, making it easy to accidentally drop your SD card inside and forcing you to disassemble the console to retrieve it. The SD card Tray is designed to fit on top of the Rhea or Phoebe device, sealing off the inside of the console and preventing the SD card from falling in through an open lid. There are two STL files available: one includes four slots for storing additional SD cards, while the other does not have these features. The slots are staggered to make it easier to grip them, and they are placed so that when the lid is closed, the cards will stay in place even if the console is turned upside down. The file without the slots is designed for users who do not want this feature. Fitment has been tested on VA0 and VA1 console revisions with a Rehea version 3.1. Other consoles and Rhea/Phoebe versions may also work, as they are dimensionally similar. If you use this file, please leave a comment confirming fitment on other revisions. Print Settings: Supports: Yes Notes: Supports are necessary because the entire section that fits over the Rhea/Phoebe device has about a 2mm overhang. This is a low-stress part with critical dimensions only in the rear mounting holes, so material, quality, and other settings are not crucial.
