Sega Master System 2 (SMS2) owners can now upgrade their console with an audio/video modification kit that connects directly to their TV's A/V input via a detachable cable. This modification preserves the integrity of the original console box while solving the long-standing issue of low-quality RF output and incompatibility with modern TVs. The RF signal is notoriously weak, resulting in a poor picture quality that's often unwatchable. The kit requires a thin copper sheet to be cut into precise shapes for each contact housing. Two lateral contacts are designated for audio and video signals, while the internal contact serves as the ground (GND) connection.
