A new VMU holder design for 2024 has arrived! This one ditches the simple square design of the last one and adopts design elements from the Dreamcast case and VMU to make what could almost pass as an official Dreamcast accessory! Otherwise it's still the best way to store and display up to 10 VMUs or memory cards!The holder comes in two pieces, the main holder and a triangle emblem that's glued into the slot on the front. Printing tips:Pretty simple print for the most part but due to the subtle slope from front to back, I recommend printing at a 0.1mm layer height for a smoother transition. Standard 0.2mm doesn't look bad though. Although I haven't tried it, a bit of light sanding may smooth it out nicely as well.The VMU holder is available as both a standard STL file and a STEP file. The STEP file is recommended if you have a slicer that supports it will lead to a smoother print.10% infill and 2 walls works well for strength. Be sure to post your makes!
