seesaw saw for metal - Wippsäge Metall
thingiverse
This is my metal sawing device, and I used a regular angle grinder, the Ferm 125mm. You can also use another angle grinder or check the position for a blade of 115mm. This is a prototype printed in PLA, but it's better to print in PETG or ABS. You can quickly cut small metal profiles to a set length. It's very important to wear protective gear and watch your fingers. All this is mounted on one phenolic resin-coated plywood board that measures 200x300mm by 18mm. You'll need these extra parts: 1. A hexagon screw without a shaft, DIN 933 M5x16 2. A hexagon screw without a shaft, DIN 933 M8x16 (for fixing the angle grinder) 3. Two cylinder head hexagon sockets, DIN 912 M5x40 4. Three hexagon nuts, DIN 934 M5 5. One rod with a diameter of 4mm and a length of 75mm 6. One rod with a diameter of 4mm and a length of 150mm
