Seesaw Maths

The Gyrobot is a hands-on teaching tool that assists students in grasping concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. It does not provide answers but rather indicates if responses are correct through a balanced seesaw mechanism. Additionally, it helps in understanding science principles such as leverage, fulcrums, moments, and gravity. Fun and interactive, the Gyrobot can be accessed via its website or Facebook page. To use this educational aid, simply print without support and scale to the maximum size possible. For instance, I printed 20 red counters, but you may choose to print more depending on your needs. The counters should ideally have solid infill for a greater impact on the beam. As an example, to solve the question "How many sevens in 28?", place counters totaling 28 on one side of the seesaw (ideal for addition) and determine how many counters are required on the other side's 7-peg to balance the seesaw, thus understanding the concept of multiplication.
