Seesaw for Playmobil
prusaprinters

Hello!

This time I created a seesaw to add to the playground for Playmobil, check my other creations for the playground in this collection.

I designed it with horse heads as holders, like one existing at the park I use to go with my daughter, she is very happy having for the toys the same seesaw she plays with in the park. It fits perfect for Playmobil kids and goes up and down really smooth, with the help of a gentle push ;)

It is easy to print, all parts are created with that concept in mind, only a small support is needed for the shafts of the beam. And it is easy to assembly too without glue or bolts.

As always, please let me know any question or problem you may have.

Printing instructions

I used the print setting “0.20mm QUALITY” from PrusaSlice 2.4 as reference with some changes (the .3mf files attached already include the modifications).

Common to all the parts:

Material: PLA

Layer height: 0.20mm.

Infill: 10% Grid.

Detect thin walls: ON.

Base part:

Print upside down so no supports are needed.

Beam part:

Add small supports for the shafts (I used paint-on supports with snug style).

Add brim to prevent warping.

Holder part:

Layer height: 0.10mm.

Increase perimeters to make the piece solid and strong.

Leg part:

Place with the hole facing upwards.

You need to print:

1x Base

1x Beam

2x Holders

2x Horses

2x Legs

Postprocessing and assembly

The parts are designed with snap-fit connectors, so no glue or bolts are needed, just press a little, there should be enough clearance to allow the insertion and the parts should keep fixed tight, but can be separated again by pulling them. If you feel they are too tight, a bit of sanding or just pass the edge of a knife will help.

Follow the video instructions:

<oembed url="https://youtu.be/cdk0LPZMGdo"></oembed>

Enjoy it and let me know if you like it!
