Seemecnc Rostock Max V4
thingiverse
I wanted a custom enclosure for my Rostock Max V4, but since the printer was so new, I couldn't find any existing designs on Thingiverse. So, I decided to create one myself. Most of the parts are 3D printed and attach using factory hardware. Unfortunately, documenting my projects is not my strong suit, so please bear with me if you have questions about how this enclosure came together. Feel free to comment below and I'll do my best to help clarify things. The files for this design are labeled with a number at the beginning of each file name. This indicates how many prints you need to make of each part to complete the enclosure. There are some parts in this design that weren't 3D printed by me, including: Three Lexan windows, each measuring 27.75 inches x 9.75 inches Two Lexan windows, each measuring 27.75 inches x 7 inches Two Lexan windows, each measuring 27.75 inches x 4.75 inches Two Lexan windows, each measuring 27.75 inches x 2.375 inches You'll also need to source piano hinges (which could be substituted with 3D printed ones if you prefer) and magnets for the door holder. I used M3 nuts and machine screws as additional hardware. I normally include Fusion 360 files in my posts, but this design was based on SEEMECNC's GitHub repository for the printer base, and I'm not sure if I have permission to share those files. If you're interested in improving or modifying my original design, feel free to message me and I'll send over the files.
