SeeMeCNC Hotend Fix
thingiverse
The original SeeMeCNC hotend is being fixed for PLA printing using RostockHotEndFix4 or RostockHotEndFix4.2, depending on the fan size. These setups are compatible with 40 mm or 50 mm fans, each featuring a 25 mm active cooling fan. To fix the issue, disassemble the hotend bracket and remove its standoffs. Place these standoffs in three barrels and gently hammer them in if needed. The hotend is then reassembled with fans situated below the center section. Assemble it in order: attachment nut, hotend bracket, hotend standoff piece, and hotend. Properly mount and wire the fans. Crucially, don't forget to adjust your firmware; the build height should increase to around 328 mm, allowing successful PLA printing.
