I am remixing Idea_Beans' Fan Shroud for HE280 Hot End to better suit my Orion 3D printer's bed clips. The redesigned fan shrouds are lower profile and easier to install and remove due to longer clips. I've also optimized the air duct design to direct more airflow directly at the nozzle tip. My current print settings are: Layer Height: .3mm Perimeters: 3 Infill: 0% Supports: None Raft: None Scale: 1:1 I previously processed the STL files with Netfabb. The images attached to this post show the previous version of the fan shroud, while I'm currently printing the updated design as we speak. The only difference between these two iterations is the size of the air duct outlet holes. After printing, I'll use a heat gun to gently bend the air duct portion of the shrouds downward, creating a more streamlined airflow path without requiring supports. However, I'm not convinced this detail makes a significant impact on overall performance.
