I'm having a blast customizing the Seej 2013 Catapult, and I'll be posting my mods here, so expect more files to be added as I come up with new ideas. To educate your friends and family about home 3D printing, I recommend this entertaining, easy-to-understand video (under two minutes): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpHv19jdloI Instructions: File = seej_catapult_FULL-SET_arm-mp-f1.stl The Arm Version "MP-F1" allows for shooting with the disk payload upright and flat. I added a ridge to hold the metal disk in place while it's flat, and a spot for my larger fingers. This gives me more control. Printed in PLA at 0.2mm Layer Height, 1.2 wall thickness, and 12% infill. File = seej_catapult_FULL-SET_arm-mp-f1.stl This file was inspired by pjotrx, who combined most of the parts into a single file. However, I wanted to include the flags as well, so this is what I consider the full set. Although there are no bloxen included, the fullness is open for debate. (Warning: this file includes my modified arm, so if you don't like it, swap it back to the original.) This print measures 140mm x 140mm (5.5" x 5.5") and should fit most printers at 100% size. If needed, resize it to fit your stage. For a quick start, I just load this one file and print for three hours, then add some hot glue, and we're ready to go! Printed in PLA at 0.2mm Layer Height, 1.2 wall thickness, and 12% infill. File = seej-flag_mp_2sided.stl This is a flag with my initials on it. Unless MP means something special to you, this might not be very interesting. However, the idea of adding your own initials could be fun! Printed in PLA at 0.2mm Layer Height, 1.2 wall thickness, and 12% infill. File = seej_battle_flag_4sets.stl Need battle flags? This file includes four sets in one print (12 flags total). This print measures 140mm x 124mm (5.5" x 5").
