Seedling cup
thingiverse
Using plastic cups as seedling containers can be a great alternative to traditional pots, and when it's time to transplant simply split them down the middle and re-pot the soil ball without harming the roots. So yes, this is a clever solution. What I found particularly challenging was positioning the root and stem in the cups, so I came up with this seedling container to solve that problem. This container lets you fill one side first, then place the stem inside before adding more soil on top, sealing it off by closing the other half - ensuring proper placement of the root system and stem. And just like using plastic cups, when your clone is ready for transplanting, simply pull them apart, remove the base disc and re-pot the soil ball without damaging the roots.
