Seed Starting Planter

UPDATE: Added a little twist STL. Kind of quirky, but needed something for adding soil into the planter without harming the sprouts. Prints fine without supports in PLA (very long, steep overhang), but supports are highly recommended. Basic planter for starting various seeds comes with room to grow. Went a bit large with this one, as I like to bury new starts up to their neck until they are at least 3 inches long, and also give them plenty of lateral space for root growth. I prefer to put a small layer of aquarium gravel at the bottom, so that the soil doesn't clog the drains. The bottom drains on this one are integrated into the base neck design. Vapor smoothing will make it easier and cleaner to remove starts for potting/planting, as long as care is taken to wash and rinse the planter afterward. Works with PLA, ABS/ASA, Nylon - you name it. Takes a while to print, and the print in the picture was laid down at high speed to cut down on time, so there's edge-ringing clearly visible. Your results will definitely vary.
