Seed starter tray (and light mount)
prusaprinters
Ok, first of all, yes you can order a seed tray from Amazon, way cheaper than the light this is made for and use the windowsill… but where is your sense of over-engineering adventure.I really just wondered if I could do some seed starting in my lair and if the small grow lights have a use. They work for what we are doing here. What is that exactly? Well, I'm glad you asked.I use 1.5-inch rockwool cubes and I designed this 6 starter for those, in conjunction with my tower system they are used in (link coming soon). It's limited to 6, but I have 2 lights, so that's 12 starters at a time. The parts can be printed in either PLA or PETG, I also used the fuzzy skin option. The starter caps are to keep the moisture in and humidity up until sprouting has occurred. You can print clear ones if you need the light, or opaque ones if you want darkness. See, flexibility.Prring with good perimeters and top layers. I did 4 perimeters (overkill) and 6 top layers. Leaks should be minimal but can be plugged with glue :)
