Alternatively, a revised design can accommodate up to 20 Rockwool cubes by closely fitting them into the tray. Users should germinate their seeds in 1.5" rockwool cubes as usual before transferring them to this starter tray. Seeds cannot be sprouted directly using AeroGarden Bio-Domes. Cubes are arranged in a densely packed configuration, which necessitates frequent replacement or transfer of seedlings to avoid the formation of entangled roots within the tray. This setup is suitable for cultivating starters that will eventually be relocated to zipgrow hydroponic towers. Users may also choose to apply this system for soil-bound plants.
