Seed-pot
thingiverse
This seed-pot print in ABS was created using a scaled-down version of the original design, printed at 66% size through Slic3r software. To initiate the process, I used a file to create an opening inside the lid. Once the fit is proper, I added a small amount of acetone to the vessel and screwed the top on gently, shaking it softly before tightening it again. After that, I opened the lid directly without hesitation, as trying otherwise would be futile. The acetone was then carefully poured back into its bottle. I took care not to touch the wet plastic at this stage, allowing it to dry for 2 hours instead. Upon completion of this drying period, the interior surface was both waterproof and smooth. Next, I employed acetone to attach flowers to the lid, bringing the project to a satisfying conclusion. For added flair, I used nail polish to paint the flowers with white petals and golden hearts, sourced from the local dollar shop.
