Seed Feeder for 500g Cooking Sauce Jar

This is a 3 part (sunflower) seed feeder for upcycling jars with a 60mm diameter screw neck. This size is very popular in the UK and the design was based around the 500g cooking sauce jars available in most supermarkets. Other sizes may fit, but there are no guarantees! The design is in 3 parts: Top hat that slips over the base of the jar. This has quite a deep collar to add stability to jars that have a taper. Bottom collar which houses the feed holes and hoods. This is designed to screw onto the jar - it's quite tight and intended to remain on the jar during filling. Base plate that fits onto the collar. This can be easily removed for filling and is held in place using recessed areas and the weight of the jar. The top hat and base plate are designed to be connected together with a loop of paracord (any 4 to 5mm cord or tent guy rope will suffice), threaded trough holes and knotted at each end.
