The Colt Defender is my go-to summer carry. It's SS, small enough to slip into that tiny pocket on your jeans and doesn't print at all. Every month, I set a calendar reminder to swap out the active magazine with the inactive one. This helps the springs return to their normal uncompressed state, and reminds me to inspect it regularly for proper function. The rounds fit snugly into the box, but come out easily. They're positioned high enough inside the box so they're just 1 or 2mm from the lid, preventing them from falling out of place. The magazine fits snugly and doesn't thrash around inside the case. I put the old magazine back in with the old ammo. I also keep a small homemade snake in mine and drop it through the pipe to lubricate and clean where the two dissimilar metals had been sitting for a month. Oh yeah, and I swiped a hair-band from my girlfriend to keep the lid on tight - they last longer than rubber bands for some reason. Cheers!
