Security mic stand
thingiverse
This thing was made using Tinkercad, which can be edited online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/fTQGp2sBRcl. It was created to hold security microphones in place on the inside ceiling of an escape room. We attach this to the top of open-ceiling rooms and then stick the microphone to the wall using black electrical tape. We use standard black electrical tape to secure the mic to the post. In the future, I may redesign it with a cradle at the top to hold the microphone in place. However, we didn't start with that design because we don't have a standard microphone, and this setup works perfectly well as is.
