Summary Desired a secure way to mount my Laview security cameras on 1 gang switch boxes. Created a custom solution that fits snugly onto the underside, designed to accommodate a 5/16 size (7.77 mm) nut. Simply insert nuts into the press fit slots, attach to the outlet box, and screw the camera into place using the provided screws. It's essential to measure the correct bolt length based on your specific camera brand, as it must not protrude beyond the base of the mount. The designed mount also serves a secondary purpose: covering the arch at the camera base where wires are routed out the side, eliminating any unsightly cables. A valuable feature for those who prefer a tidy setup. For added flexibility, an optional spacer was created to lower one of my cameras slightly, allowing it to clear obstacles. To produce this spacer, simply sink it into the build plate during the slicing process, resulting in a reduced height.
