Security Camera IR Mask

I recently set up a security camera system and was experiencing an overwhelming number of motion triggers at night due to insects that were drawn to the built-in infrared (IR) lights. To resolve this issue, I created a custom mask that perfectly fits over the part of the camera housing with the IR LEDs, ensuring they remain hidden from view. In addition, I installed a separate IR floodlight a few feet away from the cameras for enhanced night vision capabilities. After just one night of operation, I was thrilled to find that my modifications had eliminated all false motion detections caused by bugs. I will continue to monitor the system over the next few days to confirm its effectiveness and provide further updates as needed.
