Section from Marble stele (grave marker) of a man
thingiverse
A marble grave marker, dating from approximately 375-350 B.C., commemorates a bearded man within a Greek Attic cultural context. The artwork, classified as stone sculpture, is 56 x 32 x 8 inches in size and is made of marble. It's currently displayed in Gallery 158 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The man is depicted seated on a chair, leading to the assumption that this monument was erected in his honor as part of a family scene. Acquired through the Fletcher Fund in 1959, its accession number is 59.11.27. A 3D scan was captured using 123DCatch on an iPhone 5S on January 26, 2014.
