Secret Shelf latch

Secret Shelf latch

thingiverse

I designed this magnetic latch to prevent accidental openings when someone inspects or touches it out of curiosity. This latch necessitates two 5x3mm neodymium magnets, which can be acquired in quantities of over a hundred for just a dollar or two. To secure the latch, I used super glue on both the inside of the shelf and the magnet attached to the inside of the shelf cover. However, you're free to experiment with alternative adhesives to achieve the desired level of strength. To prepare this design for 3D printing, rotate it so that the area where the magnet is inserted is positioned at the top. Then, print with supports to ensure a sturdy and secure latch.
