In the Spring 2009 issue of "Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts", a creative puzzle box is featured that's made entirely from one block. The second animation demonstrates the cutting process. It was designed using Solidworks 2016 software, and rendered with Simlab Composer 7 Mechanical Edition. Frames were edited to AVI/X264 and BMP format in Virtualdub, then video was remuxed to MP4 using MyMP4BoxGui. Gif animations were created with PhotoScape, while renders were edited in IrfanView. The 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files all contain animations. These can be viewed on IOS and Android devices via the free Simlab Viewer app and its support for ZIM files. The model is available in multiple formats including Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 7, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, and ZIM.
