A simple yet effective secondary mirror holder for a diagonal mirror with a minor axis of 4 cm or more is now a reality. I designed this versatile secondary mirror holder specifically for my dobson telescope building project, utilizing a 203 mm diameter primary mirror and a secondary mirror with a 70 mm minor axis. This innovative diagonal mirror holder features the essential three screws spaced at 120 degrees to fine-tune the tilt of the secondary mirror. The knob allows for effortless rotation and translation of the telescope tube forward and backward. Its simplicity belies its efficiency. The photos showcase the printed holder, elegantly painted with a flat black finish that looks even more impressive than before. An added bonus is the base part designed to accommodate M5 spider vanes, catering to those who prefer a sturdier spider vane setup, although it's not strictly necessary.
