Second Z-Axis-Holder for K8200

Second Z-Axis-Holder for K8200

thingiverse

Introducing a new design for the second X-axis holder and motor compatible with Velleman K8200. This innovative creation retains the original mechanical carriage without requiring disassembly or frame extension. However, wire replacement/extension for the extruder is necessary along with horizontal movement of the Controllerboard. For further information, check out the new cover at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:215085. The other required parts include a motor-holder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:167650) and an Upper Z-Carriage Holder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:175137). To assemble this holder, you'll need the following hardware: 2 M5x25 hex socket cap head bolts for the spindle, 4 M5x20 hex socket cap head bolts for the horizontal aluminum profile, 2 M5x60 hex socket cap head bolts for the clamp, and 4 M5 nuts. Additionally, you'll require 10 M5 x 10x0.8mm washers, and you can edit the SCAD file to customize it according to different nut sizes. For the vertical spindle, a 400mm TR8x1.5 spindle with two TR8x1.5 hex nuts of 15mm height is used, with one cut through for top adjustment. This setup is required twice if you haven't already replaced the left Z-axis with a trapezoidal spindle.
