Second Shooter Slider Mount

Second Shooter Slider Mount

When setting up your Second Shooter Camera control rig on a Slider, the standard parts won't suffice. This necessitates more solid groundwork, allowing you to position your Second Shooter securely on your slider with cables on one side always facing forward. As part of other modifications I've made to my setup, this will facilitate deployment in the field and provide a firm base. Originally designed with 4 spokes, the slicing software's mistake resulted in a sleeker model that I preferred. To attach this device, use an adapter similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014EIGFIE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Then, employ another piece to ensure it fits on the Second Shooter and slider (since a 3/8 to 3/8 adapter was unavailable). Carefully insert the Camvate through the ring, ensuring its threads exit on the opposite side. Gradually tighten the screw by rotating the ring clockwise until it's snug against the second shooter or slider. Next, place the ring on your Second Shooter or slider and attach the other to complete the setup. I revised the original model due to a glitch; however, the images displayed are from my print (which didn't translate well, prompting me to redesign). I did post an alternative version of the design that printed successfully. To achieve optimal results, use 80% infill, and your printed piece should be approximately 15 cm across. Wishing you good luck and enjoyable shooting experiences.
