Default materials remain wood and spring steel, which can be powder-coated for protection. The design emphasizes minimalist aesthetics while maintaining functionality, inspired by the context of canoes. It has a free-form shape, resembling a knife, hence the name 'Blade'. Materials include spring steel, mahogany wood, and cork. Affordable manufacturing methods are utilized, such as laser cutting and bending. The design secures to the boat edge using spring tension in the steel and features a cork pad for boat protection. Mahogany wood adds an elegant touch and can be fabricated with CNC or router.
