Second Gen. Camaro Front Coil-Over Shock Mounts (Koni)
thingiverse
This design will install a Koni coil-over shock instead of the factory coil and shock. To do this, you'll need to modify the bottom control arm spring perch as shown in the drawings. First, use a hydraulic press to flatten the helical factory perch on the bottom control arm. Next, create a jig from steel that matches the bolt pattern and place it on the arm with precision. The jig also serves as a guide for a Ø4" hole saw centered over the bolt pattern. This completes the modifications to the lower control arm. Remove the top shock mount to make room for the upper mount illustrated in the drawings. Simply remove the portion of the upper control arm mount that held the shock, rather than taking out the entire mount. I'll post some pictures soon to help explain this process.
