Seb's remixed infinity cube, 15mm cubes, tight and loose
thingiverse
hi! This remix I made because the original was too big. When I printed it shrunk down to about 15mm cubes, the tolerances also shrank and left me with harder-to-break hinges on a few models, which broke due to this (about 1/4 of my models). I redesigned it exactly the same but smaller. There's one version that has similar tolerances as the original model (.25mm between all parts) and another model (the looser one) with double the original tolerances (.4mm between moving parts), if you prefer a very loose cube from the start. Both print easily and work well with minimal scrap prints (actually, I printed about 25 of these, and only one broke). I print mine out of PETG, .2mm layers, fan around 40%, regular speed. I underextrude the first layer by about 94%, with 80% width (so double underextrude I guess) and the rest is 100%.
