Seawave-Powered Generator
thingiverse
The above design is a concept one made by team "Mporo" of Doukqs School, 2014. Part of project on the 2014 E-clic Project Competition. The main subject was of course using ocean expanses for producing electricity. It was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/bH0jkdAl19x The above machine is a generator converting kinetic energy to electricity. This unit is designed to work in complexes, which means that energy produced will be transferres via HVDV submarine lines to land To find out more about alternative means of producing hydroelectric energy, please visit our site: www.jimmydarras4.wix.com/eclicdoukas Instructions More about it: This design is made up of an airtight basic cubic construction with air inside and an hexagonal automatically opening cover (supposed to be open at all times) for the input and output of air and sea waves. It is of course completed with a round upper cover for aerodynamic reasons and resistance in mid-sea harsh conditions. Its functionality is based on the common sense: the kinetic energy of the waves is likely to produce wind, which, being trapped inside the machine, will move the propeller-turbine producing electricity via the magnetic inductor. *(The line symbolises the level of the sea and is not part of the design)
