Seattle Space Needle
thingiverse
This scaled replica of Seattle's renowned Space Needle measures an impressive 40 cm in height. A recent update made on July 20, 2015 brought some significant enhancements to the model's overall integrity. The central screw was fortified, ensuring maximum stability and reliability, while also thickening the antenna for increased strength. Printers can bring this exacting replica to life without relying on supports. However, printing a raft for its slender sections is advisable, especially considering their elevated nature. One might need to carefully affix the lower section of the observation deck to the base pillars using an adhesive substance and do the same by attaching the bottom segment of those base pillars to the core structure itself. Conversely, most components will interlock neatly via screws allowing them to be effortlessly disconnected during transport or substituted in case one is compromised. Printing the antennas within the Top1.stl model demands that fans run at maximum capacity while requiring a minimum of 5 seconds per layer for optimal results.
