I'm diving headfirst into the world of 3D printing and designing! My very first project is still a work in progress, but maybe it'll spark something new for you. To me, it's not perfect yet, but that's just the beginning! I'm really loving this process - it's incredibly fun! The possibilities are endless, and I can't wait to create even more masterpieces. I made this 3D printed Sounders logo cookie cutter as a gift for a friend who is absolutely passionate about their favorite soccer team. First, I found an online image of the iconic Sounders emblem and brought it into life with Adobe Illustrator, where I refined the design. Next, I turned my artwork into a three-dimensional shape by extruding it in Photoshop. Once I had that result, I used OpenSCAD to model and refine my 3D print file even further. After inspecting my finished product, I noticed that the back part might need a bit more material added for better stability, and perhaps the lettering needs some enlargement for easier recognition - minor tweaks only! In case those adjustments don't cut it, I'll probably opt for an entirely different design based on another Sounders logo iteration.
