On February 22, the new University of Virginia Art Museum terrace received its crowning glory in the form of a stunning bronze sculpture by renowned artist Henry Moore, generously loaned from the esteemed Henry Moore Foundation in England. Titled Seated Woman, this imposing figure stands as an early exemplar of the grand bronzes that became a hallmark of Moore's oeuvre from the late 1950s until his passing in 1986. This remarkable object is part of "Scan The World", a groundbreaking non-profit initiative pioneered by MyMiniFactory. Through this innovative endeavor, we are creating a vast digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe, accessible for free to the public.
