Seated Male Statue at The British Museum, London
myminifactory
This figure is one of the oldest discovered along the Sacred Way at Didyma and has managed to survive with its head intact. The drapery consists of simple flat lines and patterns that only hint at the bodily forms beneath. A fleshy, rounded face and braided hair are characteristic of East Greek sculpture, while the missing feet were attached separately. This object is part of "Scan The World", a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory, which aims to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe that can be accessed for free.
