Seatbelt buckle stopper
thingiverse
My little ones are responsible for snapping the tiny seatbelt knob that prevents the buckle from sliding all the way down the strap. I searched high and low for a couple of other designs but wasn't satisfied with them, so I decided to create my own custom solution. The pin that passes through the seatbelt is thin enough not to require enlarging the hole in the fabric, which means it shouldn't affect the MOT inspection. To make sure everything held together securely, I applied a small amount of superglue to the little pin and the surface facing the seatbelt. Then, I pressed them together for 10 seconds using a pair of pliers. The result is a sturdy and reliable fix that seems to be working flawlessly. I printed it in blue because I didn't have any black PLA filament on hand.
