I recently returned from an extended road trip and encountered a frustrating issue that I'd like to share with you. The small plastic piece that prevents the seatbelt buckle from sliding all the way down to the floor had vanished, leaving me annoyed. Every time I attempted to fasten my seatbelt, the buckle would slide down into an inaccessible gap between the vehicle's chassis and door. This minor problem became a significant source of frustration during my trip. I didn't appreciate the importance of this small component until it was gone. After creating a replacement using my 3D printer and successfully installing it, I realized that sharing the design files would be beneficial to others who may have also lost theirs. To install the new piece: 1. Push the back plate through the seatbelt in the same location as the original one. 2. Attach the front plate and heat a pocket knife blade to melt the protruding pin, then flatten it out to secure the two parts together. This simple solution can save you from a potentially frustrating experience during your next road trip.
