Gauges based on Stein's high-end sizing gauges (approximately $100 for each pair). These precision instruments measure the inner diameter of your bicycle's seat tube to determine the optimal size of your seat post. To ensure accuracy, consider material shrinkage and other factors - it may be necessary to run a test print. The gauges are hollow, featuring a uniform wall thickness of around 5 mm throughout. Debossed diameters appear at 1 mm increments, with each segment measuring 30 mm in length. The final segment is longer at 50 mm, boasting an axially centered hole for easy removal if needed. Supplementary images provide reference points for identifying the precise sizes employed by Stein. One gauge addresses a range of 25.4 to 27.4 mm, while the other spans 28.4 to 31.6 mm. The accompanying SLDPRT files allow for editing and customization. However, be aware that the wrap/deboss feature can be resource-intensive, potentially causing delays on older computers.
