Seat reattachment for Rolling Garden Scooter Seat

Sam's Club markets it as "Garden Scooter Seat," but most sellers label this compact green gadget "Rolling Garden Seat with Tool Tray, 300lb capacity." It proves to be quite handy. However, the seat's attachment to its base relies on a simple weld holding a heavy internal-thread fitting to the cross brace, and that weld didn't meet expectations. The weld gave way within the first month or so, which didn't render the unit unusable but did make the seat unstable. I could have attempted to re-weld it or used JB Weld, but neither option would increase the surface area holding it in place (and I lacked the materials for either repair). So, here's a simple 3D-printed component that fits over the failed weld and offers plenty of glue area as well as wings to lock against the mounting plate and prevent rotation of the fitting. The seat still rotates as intended to adjust its height. This part features an internal pattern that significantly boosts the glue surface area, and I used Gorilla glue, which expands when it sets and applies considerable clamping pressure on the piece. I'm unsure how well this repair will hold up since it's just been done, but I'll post an update here later. **UPDATE**: My initial repair (printed in blue) didn't provide sufficient stability to prevent all wobbling. Gorilla glue isn't enough, so gardenseat20200709 (printed in silver) is a design that secures the repair with two printed pieces, four 1/4-20 bolts, and Liquid Nails glue.
