After many hours of meticulous design, I have decided to share with the community my carefully crafted design for the extensions of the DSG Paddle Shifters, specifically tailored for the VAG group. These extensions have been thoroughly tested on the SEAT CUPRA, ensuring a seamless driving experience. The distance between the hands has been expertly adjusted to eliminate any discomfort during driving. The design is cleverly separated into two pieces to optimize the printing process and achieve a flawless impression. To assemble the extension, simply use 2 countersunk screws measuring 3x6, and secure it to the original cam with 3M double-sided glue. For optimal printing results, I recommend using the following settings: Fill: minimum 30% to ensure maximum durability Layer height: between 0.2 - 0.1 for precise details Supports: Yes (only necessary in the piece connecting the original paddle and the extender) Use a roof support for best results After printing, I suggest post-processing with special self-levelling epoxy resin specifically designed for 3D impressions. A simple sanding and painting process will yield a satisfactory outcome.
