Seat Control Bezel - Chevy/GMC

I got caught by the clever designers of OEM parts when my pant leg snagged on the seat control bezel that hugged the front of my 2004 GMC pickup's seat. Instead of tossing the broken part and watching it break again, I discovered that the Hummer design with a matching seat was less prone to cracking in the future. The catch? The replacement parts cost $100 each side - a hefty price tag. Seizing the chance to create something similar, I crafted these 3D models in Sketchup and printed them on my printer at home. Once the part was printed, it looked decent, but for a more customized look, I wrapped it with carbon fiber vinyl wrap and now it looks like it was meant to be there from the start.
