Seat Clip Mount for installing Hobie Vantage Seat in Jackson Coosa Kayak

I thought I'd put this out here just in case someone might actually need or want it. To be honest, I'm not thrilled with the comfort of my Jackson Coosa FD seat, so I decided to see if a Hobie Vantage ST seat would fit. As it turns out, it's almost a perfect match. The bad news is that the Hobie Vantage seat is ridiculously expensive, which makes this modification or retrofit highly unlikely unless someone happens to have an extra one or can find it at a rock-bottom price. A few stainless machine bolts hold everything in place, and the Jackson base is sturdy enough to keep them secure. The Hobie Vantage seat feet pivot under new printed blocks, and the rear crossmember drops down into the rear riser with just a little tension to lock it into place. It's incredibly tight and doesn't move from side to side at all. Plus, it's super easy to remove and install. The only potential issue is that it's a couple of inches higher than my stock Jackson seat, which might be too high for some people. However, for my fishing area and style, it's just about perfect.
