I crafted a custom costume, requiring me to design and build a functional seatbelt from scratch. The key components included the buckle, strap adjusters, and a narrow tunnel for the shoulder straps to pass through seamlessly into the seat. To achieve this, I carefully measured the ideal strap width, setting it at 5cm to ensure a secure fit. Utilizing canvas as my material of choice, I sewed each piece together with precision, although professional-grade straps would undoubtedly have produced an even more durable result.
