These guides align and retain the belt much better - it can't be unintentionally removed from the guide. And the strength is quite good - I yanked the belt with some slack as hard as I could to try to shock-load the print, and it held up just fine.I don't recommend printing them in PLA due to the high temperatures reached in a car and the fact that they are always under a load, even when you're not in the car. I had some prototypes in PLA that sagged within a day of installation
