Custom Seat Belt Retainer Clip: A DIY Solution for Easy Access Frustrated by having to dig down to find the seat belt latch, I created my own replacement button to keep it off the ground. My new car lacked this feature, so I took matters into my own hands and designed a simple fix. The design consists of two identical parts, labeled Side A and B, which are attached to either side of the seat belt. The lock ring then slides over part B, securing everything in place. To ensure a strong bond between the parts, I applied a small amount of cyanoacrylate adhesive at the joint. However, a friction fit would also be effective. I printed this custom clip using my Prusa MK3 3D printer with ABS material.
